Use this short story to practice Spanish vocabulary and important grammar structures related to the summer and returning to school after the summer break. Some of the high frequency structures introduced include "quiero...", "empieza...", and "acaba..." and more. This activity helps develop listening skills in Spanish, allows students to practice pronunciation and also includes comprehension games at the end to help you check for understanding.

First, students will listen to the story and have time to practice pronunciation, before answering the comprehension questions that are presented in a fun and engaging way.
