The Earth Day short story teaches high frequency structures like "¿Quién es?" "soy..." "necesito..." as well as earth-related vocabulary in Spanish (especially vocabulary related to reducing, reusing and recylcing).   The story has comprehension questions and sequencing activities at the end. We recommend starting with the printable version of the story before moving on to the interactive version.
