This activity helps students practice high-frequency Spanish structures while discovering the real meaning behind 5 de mayo. Students hear and read sentences featuring top verbs like pedir, querer, tener, and ser. They can click on words to see translations. After listening to the sentences, students make learning interactive by dragging and matching sentences to the correct images—turning history into a fun and memorable experience!

After practicing together, encourage students to complete the activity independently or in small groups for quick reinforcement. It’s a fun and effective way to build confidence and deepen their understanding!

Perfect for warm-ups, reviews, early finishers, or filling those last few minutes of class—an easy and powerful way to reinforce learning again and again.
